Garvin & Lidster is a family owned automotive repair shop that has proudly served Terre Haute and surrounding communities for 92 years, yes 92 years! We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys learning, communicating with people, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do.
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the face of our shop helping customers understand their vehicle needs, guiding them through the repair process, and building lasting relationships.
No automotive experience? No problem, we’re happy to train the right person.
And yes, NO WEEKENDS! We believe in taking care of our team so they can take care of their families. Our service department is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle concerns
- Recommend appropriate repairs and services with honesty and clarity
- Provide accurate estimates for cost and timelines
- Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process
- Address questions or concerns and ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repair history
- Assist with parts ordering, receiving, and tracking cores
- Help manage shop workflow and daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized front office and customer area
- Open or close the facility when needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

$18 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
